You Sure You Wanna Start A Blog?

This is the question I've been asking myself.  Do I really have anything to say?  What will this blog be about?

All I gotta say is...who the heck knows.  I don't know why I decided to start blogging.  I just knew that I felt as if I have something to say, even if it's just to myself.  Who knows if anyone will actually read this.  Maybe some will...that would be great.  It would be awesome to have fans.  I won't, however, hold my breath.

Ha! Sorry I couldn't resist.  Pictured me holding my breath.  Turning blue which in turn made me think of one of my favorite films, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and then, of course, one of my favorite quotes. Oh wait, here's another...

I know pretty random, right?   That's pretty much me in a nutshell. Silly little things make me think of quotes from films, song lyrics, things like that.  This happens a lot so you'll just have a bear with me.

So, wanna know where my blog theme and name came from?  I bet you think I am a huge Beatles fan, don't you? 

Nah, just kidding.  Although I do like the Beatles, that's not where I got the name (well technically yes, but it's not the inspiration).  Actually, my son's name is Jude.  Interestingly, the inspiration for his name didn't even come from the Beatles.  But more on that later.  Pretty much everything relates back to him.  Back to being a mom.  Something I always wanted and wasn't sure was going to happen.  And then suddenly I was blessed with the miracle that would change my life forever.  He's my world.  My family is my number one priority. And I certainly don't take that for granted. Something I've learned is that nothing lasts forever, so I'm going to soak up and enjoy every moment particularly with Jude and my husband Lance.
Okay, so if you're still with me you may be asking, so what is this blog going to be about?  Even I am still asking myself that question.  Ugh, I hope I didn't lose you with that last statement. 

Hmmm...Think of this as...an evolving blog.  I plan to post a little bit of everything here.  Things that interest me, things that tick me off, things about my life as a mom, things about my job as a theatre teacher, recipes I concoct, random tidbits and everything in between.  With lots of great pictures too. Sound like something you'd like?  Then stick with me...I think you'll be glad you did.
